Highway Patrol

— Jerrid A. Kotsch, 35, Lisbon, was cited for failure to control, failure to reinstate and failure to wear seat belt after he went off the road while traveling on state Route 517 in Center Township and struck a mailbox and culvert and drove over two private driveways at 2:50 p.m. June 10.

— Stephen C. Knowlton, 35, East Palestine, was cited for left of center and failure to wear seat belt after he crossed over the center line while traveling on State Line Road in Unity Township and collided with a vehicle driven by William H. Felger, 74, East Palestine, at 2:17 p.m. June 7. Both men sustained minor injuries and were treated by EMS at the scene.

— Slyvia J. Raneri, 68, Columbiana, was cited with assured clear distance after she rear-ended a United States Postal Service LLV, driven by Robert Amann, 58, Salem, that was stopped partially off the road on Columbiana-Lisbon Road in Fairfield Township at 3:15 p.m. June 7. Raneri sustained serious but non life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital and Amann sustained minor injuries and was transported to another local hospital.

— Antonio J. Calcara, 31, Monaca, Pa., was cited with assured clear distance after he collided with a vehicle driven by Christopher W. Fercana, 35, Negley, who was turning into a private driveway on state Route 14 in Unity Township at 6:46 a.m. June 9.

— Dominic A. Walker, 19, Wellsville, was cited with failure to control after he went off the road and struck a guardrail while traveling on state Route 518 in Madison Township at 4:15 p.m. June 10.

— Glenn E. Collins III, 39, East Liverpool, was cited with assured clear distance after he rear-ended a vehicle driven by Debra L. Skerlec-Caylor, 52, Salem, while traveling on an exit ramp off of state Route 11 in Elkrun Township at 5:44 p.m. June 10.

— Andrew J. Garver, 34, North Lima, was cited with assured clear distance after he rear-ended a vehicle driven by Jessica A. Ricci, 34, Canfield, while traveling on U.S. Route 30 in Madison Township at 2:06 p.m. June 6. — Melvin A. Wengerd, 20, Negley, was traveling in a horse-drawn buggy on state Route 154 in Middleton Township when the buggy was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Robert M. Metlott, 57, Rogers, at 8:34 p.m. June 1. Metlott lost control and drove off the road, striking multiple large rocks and a tree before overturning onto its roof. Metlott sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital. Charges have not yet been filed.

— Matthew L. Stamp, 28, Salem, was cited with OVI and failure to control after he drove over the centerline while traveling on state Route 164 in Fairfield Township and struck a guardrail at 7:09 p.m. June 7.

— David A. Bulwark, 58, Youngstown, was traveling on his motorcycle on state Route 172 in Hanover Township when he failed to negotiate a verse and drove off the roadway, striking a traffic sign at 1:54 p.m. June 5. Bulwark was cited with failure to control and sustained minor injuries.

— Christian A. McVay, 26, Lisbon, was cited with failure to control and failure to wear seat belt after he drove off the road and struck a utility pole while traveling on state Route 558 in Fairfield Township at 6:18 p.m. June 3. He sustained minor injuries.

Lisbon

— An officer responded to the pool for a call of vandalism at 10:15 a.m. June 5. The officer was advised that sometime during the night, someone had kicked out multiple boards around the park. The surveillance video showed a vehicle with two girls and two boys pull in around midnight. They played on the playground but the officer could not determine if they are the ones who caused the damage.

— Officers were dispatched to a residence on East Chestnut Street at 10:17 p.m. Friday on the report of a woman doing drugs with kids in the house. The officers spoke with the woman who denied using any drugs. The mother of the woman stated that the called probably came from the woman’s ex who was trying to start problems. The officers determined the children were not in danger and did not appear to be under the influence.

— An officer responded to the juvenile court at 3:18 p.m. June 4 after an employee found a 9mm shell in the parking lot. The officer took the shell to the police department and determined that the bullet had no connection to the courthouse.

— An officer was dispatched to a residence on Sunset Drive at 3:52 p.m. June 10 on the report of two women arguing. The officer spoke to the women who advised that they were having a discussion but everything is fine.

County Sheriff

— Deputies responded to a Lincoln Street, Salineville, home due to a disturbance at 2:01 a.m. Saturday. When deputies arrived, the person who had called the disturbance had left and the person at the home did not want to pursue criminal charges.

— A Knox School Road, Knox Township, man reported at 2:20 a.m. Friday someone was in his truck and the light was on. Deputies checked the area, but did not find anyone.

— Deputies assisted Negley EMS in the 46000 block of state Route 154 where an intoxicated man needed transported to the hospital.

— A woman on Chamberlain Street, Middleton Township, reported at 7:03 p.m. Saturday, she wanted her boyfriend removed from the house where they live together. Deputies explained the eviction process.

— A woman in the 3900 block of Homeworth Road, Knox Township, reported her husband assaulted her at 7:31 a.m. Sunday. She refused to prosecute him.
