LISBON — A March 8 preliminary hearing and pretrial was set in county Municipal Court for Christopher R. Steele, 34, Grove Alley, East Liverpool, charged with a felony domestic violence for allegedly assaulting Emily Lawson on Feb. 27 by kicking in her door, putting her in a choke hold, dragging her back a hallway and punching her numerous times in the back of the head. Additionally, he is charged with criminal damaging for allegedly slashing a tire on Lawson’s 2005 Dodge van and breaking the door jam.

Daniel L. Iden, 34, Quaker Church Road, East Rochester, was fined $1,125, credited with three days served in jail, required to attend a three-day driver intervention program and ordered 40 hours community service for OVI first offense and carrying a concealed weapon for a Glock 17, nine-millimeter handgun, which Iden was carrying loaded while intoxicated on Feb. 19. The gun was ordered destroyed by the Highway Patrol.

Vicky J. Grindle, 48, Woodsdale Road, Hanoverton, was fined $875, had her license suspended for a year, credited with three days served for attending a three-day intervention program, sentenced to an additional three days in jail and required 40 hours community service for OVI first offense.

An April 12 pretrial was set for Randy P. Witherow, 53, Hanover Road, Salineville, cited with driving under OVI suspension.

Ryan William Ross, 23, Walnut Street, Washingtonville, was fined $350 for driving under suspension.

Matthew W. Juillerat, 30, Youngstown, was fined $500, credited with a day in jail, sentenced to an additional four days in jail and required 40 hours community service for two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia — one for a digital scale with white powder residue and a glass pipe on Sept. 25 and the other for a crack pipe and small straws with white residue on Sept. 27.

An April 15 pretrial was set for Michael R. Craig, 41, North Ellsworth Avenue, Salem, cited with possession of drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia. On Monday, Craig allegedly had a hypodermic needle and a glass bottle containing a piece of cotton soaked in a brown residue all in a green drawstring bag found during a traffic stop assisted by K-9 Argo and his handler Salem patrolman Steve LaRosa.

An April 6 pretrial was set for Michael Collins III, 25, Youngstown, cited with drug paraphernalia for allegedly having a digital scale with residue on Feb. 18.

Tyler R. McCullough, 23, Lowellville, was fined $250 for driving under suspension.

Jacob Greathouse, 23, East Clark Street, East Palestine, was fined $200 for possession of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia.

Dakota A. Herron, 19, Woodsdale Road, Salem, was fined $300 for no motorcycle endorsement, temporary helmet violation and temporary permit violation.

William H. Reph, 19, Canfield, was fined $200 for no motorcycle endorsement and temporary permit violation.
