Chester, W.Va.

— Christian Cameron, of New Cumberland, was served with Hancock County warrants for grand larceny, petit larceny and unlawful taking of a vehicle.

— Karlee Walker, of Chester, was served with a county warrant for shoplifting.

— Dwayne Walker, of Cleveland, was arrested on charges of driving while license suspended (third offense), possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance.

East Liverpool

— A resident of the 400 block of Case Street reported that someone knocked on her door at 11:52 p.m. Jan. 5.

— Kyle T. Smith, no address listed, was arrested at 4:34 a.m. Jan. 6 on charges of open container in a motor vehicle and driving left of center, after responding to a disturbance in the 300 block of Grant Street.

— Officers responded at 3 a.m. Jan. 6 to the 500 block of First Avenue to conduct a welfare check on a male subject, who appeared to be in the need of medical treatment for his abuse of methamphetamine.

— A juvenile warrant was served at 8:18 p.m. Thursday in the 1800 block of Idaho Avenue.

— Police responded at 4:52 pm. Thursday in the 300 block of Thompson Avenue for a welfare check on an elderly female.

— Police responded three times for an intoxicated subject Thursday at 4:21 p.m. to East Liverpool City Hospital for a subject attempting to leave after being dropped off by his parole officers and social worker; at 6:31 p.m. removal from hospital property as requested by security; and 10:14 p.m. at Berdine’s for the same subject who was passed out on the steps, so he was returned to the hospital.

— A Price Street woman reported at 7:02 p.m. Friday that an alleged representative of Publishers Clearing House contacted her via phone and requested that she buy gift cards from Walmart and give the card information to the caller over the phone.

— A subject was removed at 6:45 p.m. Friday in the 700 block of Dresden Avenue due to smoking in the lobby.

— A driver was given a warning at 8:18 p.m. Friday in the first block of West Sixth Street for an illegal U-turn.

— A Laura Avenue woman reported at 3:41 p.m. Friday that she had been receiving threats via text message.

— Officers responded at 7:01 p.m. Saturday in the 700 block of Lincoln Street for a female subject who said that she feels unsafe in the house and that she hears voices. She said that she could go to the hospital, but she had been there the day before. A male subject was cautioned about yelling, as it could perhaps trigger her to have an anxiety attack.

— William Weyand, no address listed, was cited at 7:04 p.m. Sunday in the 800 bloc of West Eighth Street on a charge of driving under suspension.

— A custody issue was documented at 6:29 p.m. Sunday in the 300 block of North Shadylane.

— Robert VanDyke, no address listed, was served a summons at 1:45 pm. Monday in the 100 block of West Sixth Street for telephone harassment.

— A female subject reported at 11:54 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of North Shadylane that she was being harassed via social media and telecommunications.

Liverpool Township

— Police responded at 8:19 p.m. Wednesday to the 1000 block of Eighth Avenue for a domestic dispute and the female half was advised she would need to get a court order to retrieve her belongings.

— A domestic dispute was reported at 6:22 p.m. Saturday in the 1200 block of Faulk Avenue.

— A female subject reported at 7:08 a.m. Sunday that her iPhone 11 was stolen while she was visiting a friend on Campground Road.

— Dalton SH Fitch, 29, of Riley was cited at 10:29 a.m. Wednesday on Campground Road for failure to control, after he allegedly swerved to miss a deer and struck a utility pole.

Highway Patrol

— Paul Anthony, 76, of East Liverpool, struck a deer while driving on state Route 11 in Madison Township at 8:10 a.m. Monday.

— Monica L. Sprouse, 23, of New Cumberland, W.Va., struck a deer while driving on U.S. Route 30 in East Liverpool on Saturday.

— David A. McCoy, 17, of Beloit, was cited for failure to control after he went off the left side of the road and struck a tree while driving on Cunningham Road in Salem Township at 12:45 p.m. Dec. 31.

— Ryan P. Smogonovich, 30, of Toronto, was cited for assured cleared distance when he struck a vehicle in the rear operated by Charles L. Logsdon, 64, of Chester, W.Va., while they were both driving north on state Route 11 in Madison Township at 7:10 a.m. Thursday. The collision resulted in Logsdon’s vehicle striking the guardrail.

— Lana Conrad, 67, of Alliance, was cited for failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign, resulting in a collision with a vehicle driven by Randall Renkenberger, 57, of Homeworth. This occurred at the intersection of Bowman and Bandy roads in Knox Township at 11:21 a.m. Jan. 6.

— Trey I. Shields, 21, of Independence, Mo., was cited for failure to control and leaving the scene of an accident after he went off the left side of the road while driving on Pine Hollow Road in Elkrun Township at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 31.

County Sheriff

— A man reported a catalytic converter was stolen from a pickup he owns while it was parked near state Route 164, Wayne Township.

— A Dutchtown School Road, Elkrun Township, woman reported someone knocked on the front door at 4:01 a.m. Tuesday and the motion lights came on. Deputies checked the area, but did not locate anyone.

— A domestic dispute was reported on Center Avenue, Center Township at 12:08 a.m. Tuesday. The woman signed a refusal to prosecute.
