— An officer backed up a county sheriff’s deputy while he recovered a stolen pickup truck at a home on Center Avenue at 3:52 a.m. Sunday. The Ford F-150 belonging Adam Little was found at the location.
— An officer was called to the CAA dental clinic on Monday after possible drugs were found disposed of in a trash can by a man who was not a patient
— Police were called to the food giveaway at the CAA food pantry on Saturday morning after a worker reported being struck by a vehicle. Traffic was backed up in both directions on Saltwell Road. It turned out no one had been struck and that a motorist who was cut off in traffic may have called in the false report in retaliation. Police then responded to a report of blocked traffic all the way down to the intersection of state Routes 164 and 517 and on North Market Street past the Circle K. The chief was contacted and he told the officer to try to reroute the traffic through the county fairgrounds.
— Mary L. Damron, 59, of Louisville, was traveling on state Route 11 in Elkrun Township when she struck a deer in the roadway at 9:47 p.m. Saturday.
— Marcisha Ortiz, 27, of Toronto, was cited for failure to control, distracted driving and license forfeiture suspension when she was distracted by her GPS and drove off the side of state Route 164 in Wayne Township striking a bush, embankment, fence, pipes and swamp at 8:22 p.m. Friday.
— Hallie G. Wasik, 19, of Hanoverton, was cited for failure to yield from a stop sign when she pulled out in front of and collided with Wendy Mioni, 54, Canfield, on Depot Road in Butler Township at 4:34 p.m. Tuesday.
