— Police were called to the food giveaway at the CAA food pantry on Saturday morning after a worker reported being struck by a vehicle. Traffic was backed up in both directions on Saltwell Road. It turned out no one had been struck and that a motorist who was cut off in traffic may have called in the false report in retaliation. Police then responded to a report of blocked traffic all the way down to the intersection of state Routes 164 and 517 and on North Market Street past the Circle K. The chief was contacted and he told the officer to try to reroute the traffic through the county fairgrounds.
