Columbiana County Common Pleas

LISBON — In county Common Pleas Court this week, a Salem man was sentenced to prison on drug charges.

Cody Wilt, 29, of Aten Avenue, was sentenced by Judge Scott Washam to six months in prison after previously pleading guilty to aggravated possession of meth. The sentence is to be served consecutively with the eight-month prison sentence from another felony case in which he pleaded guilty to burglary, domestic violence and aggravated drug possession..

James M. Horne, 36, of Campbell, was sentenced by Washam to 140 days in the county jail for violating his probation on four counts of drug possession from 2016.

Trenton L. Holenchick, 24, East Chestnut Street, Lisbon, was sentenced by Washam to 10 days in the county jail for violating his probation on complicity to burglary charges from 2018. His probation/treatment program will resume after completing the jail sentence.

Charles R. Courtney III, 35, South Lincoln Avenue, Salem, is scheduled to be sentenced on Feb. 22 after pleading guilty as charged to possessing and selling meth, with the crimes occurring in February 2018.

Jeromy Clark of Norton v. John Plavka of Alliance; alleged breach of contract over payment for construction of a barn on Clark’s property; $6,000 refund sought.

Tristan C. Byars of Baden, Pa., v. Jana M. Graham of East Liverpool; collection sought of child support.

County Treasurer v. Brian S. Merriman, et al; delinquent property tax foreclosure ordered against property at 827 Alton St., East Liverpool.

Village of East Palestine v. Scott A. Gane, et al; lawsuit settled and dismissed.
