— K-9 Hunter and Deputy Damin Beadnell responded to state Route 164, Fairfield Township, at 12:50 a.m. Thursday to search for Ricardo Gonzalez. After deputies began entering the house, Hunter went into the kitchen, then down a short hallway and into a bathroom, where the dog found Gonzalez standing up in the bathtub hiding behind the shower curtain. Gonzalez was ordered out of the bathtub and was taken into custody.
— Police responded to Days Inn when a man reported that his girlfriend refused to allow him in the hotel room after reading text messages he sent to an ex-girlfriend at 8:32 p.m. Sunday. The two were staying in the hotel because their apartment is having water issues, and their landlord was paying for the room. The girlfriend allowed the man back into the room under the condition that he slept on the floor.
— Police responded to a possible fight call at 2:30 a.m. Oct. 11. Upon arrival, the two men wrestling said that they were just wrestling around as a joke.
— A woman reported that her daughter allegedly stole her deceased husband’s debit card at 12:46 a.m. Oct. 10. The woman said that several hundred dollars were stolen from the account.
— An unknown driver crossed the centerline and struck Andrew S. Durk, 42, of East Liverpool, while driving on state Route 154 in Rogers at 2:57 p.m. Friday. Debris from the vehicle struck the front of Lucretia Evans, 38, of East Palestine, who was traveling behind Durk. The vehicle was identified as a black pick-up truck.
— Laine L. Frampton, 25, of Lisbon, struck a deer on state Route 7 in Madison Township at 8:17 p.m. Saturday.
— Gabrielle E. George, 16, of East Liverpool, was cited for assured clear distance when she struck the rear of Christian J. Francis, 30, of North Carolina, on state Route 45 in Center Township at 9:50 p.m. Saturday.
