Wellsville

— Meghan McElroy, no address listed, was arrested at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 9 in Family Dollar on charges of theft, obstructing official business and possession of criminal tools, after repeatedly lying to officers investigating a theft of $42.50 at the store.

— A resident of the 800 block of Wood Street alleged at 11:30 a.m. Friday that he provided an East Liverpool man $650 for materials to do work on his rental property and now he won’t communicate with him despite not doing the job.

— A hit and skip was reported at 5 p.m. Sept. 8 at King’s Carry Out.

— A resident alleged that a female subject threatened her over the phone shortly before 7 p.m Sept. 3 and wanted information on obtaining a protection order.

St. Clair Township

— Caitlyn McDole, no address listed, was arrested at 3:41 p.m. Sunday in Walmart on a charge of petty theft, after allegedly failing to pay for $59.82 worth of merchandise.

— Nikki Moore, no address listed, was arrested at 12:14 p.m. Sunday in Walmart on a charge of petty theft, after allegedly proceeding through the self-checkout lane without paying $96.53 worth of merchandise.

— Nelson Green, no address listed, was arrested at 5:48 p.m. Sunday in the first block of St. Clair Avenue on a charge of unsafe vehicle, after a routine traffic stop. An officer initially stopped him for a cracked windshield and going 50 in a 35 mph zone. Two suspected rocks of crack were discovered under the driver’s seat during a search of the vehicle. Green denied the alleged rocks were his but told officers other people use his vehicle which “are known to use cocaine.” The suspected drugs are being sent out, and charges would be pending those results.

— Matthew Pace, no address listed, was arrested at 6:08 p.m. Saturday in the 47000 block of McDonald Street on charges of disorderly conduct and three counts of criminal damaging. Police responded to the area for an intoxicated male, who allegedly was punching a lawn tractor, the exterior of a house and trying to fight with individuals trying to stop him before leaving. After police found Pace on neighboring property while he was “actively trying to fight with a tree,” police took him into custody. On his way back to the station and once being placed in a holding cell, he spit blood all over the cruiser seats and center divider as well as the cell walls, floor and holding bench.

— Jacob Roupe, no address listed, was arrested at 12:22 p.m. Saturday in the first block of state Route 267, after a routine LEADS check revealed his registration expired in November. Upon checking, the officer learned that Roupe’s license was suspended, and he was cited for driving under FRA suspension and expired plates.

— Officers responded at 8:55 p.m. Friday to the Giant Eagle for an altercation between a juvenile employee who accidentally sprayed an adult while disinfecting the carts. The man then threatened him and requested the manager fire him and allegedly harassed management to try to force the juvenile’s dismissal. Neither the store nor the victim wanted charges, but they did want document on the incident.

— Brian Baughman, no address listed, was served with a warrant at 1:50 p.m. Saturday in the 15000 block of state Route 170, after a routine LEADS check revealed he wanted by the Columbiana County Sheriff.

East Liverpool

— An officer was dispatched at 7:50 p.m. Friday to the 1900 block of Michigan Street to report that juveniles were being chased by subjects wanting to fight. Both sides were advised to stop antagonizing each other. Three days later, one of the mothers involved in the dispute showed police that her family allegedly was being threatened over social media by the other group.

— Police responded at 5:33 p.m. Friday in the first block of College Street to an apartment building for a possible domestic. They found nothing.

— A subject was advised at 11:04 a.m. Tuesday to stay off a property in the 800 block of Fairview that belongs to the Columbiana County Land Bank. The police were back in minutes after the subject allegedly made threats before going one street over.

— Candace Norris, no address listed, was served at 8:32 a.m. Monday in the police station after turning herself in on a warrant out of East Liverpool Municipal Court.

— An officer found a vehicle with its doors open in the driveway of a home in the 500 block of North Surry Road at 1:23 a.m. and made contact with the homeowner who couldn’t tell if anything was missing.

— Police responded at 10:18 p.m. Monday to the 300 block of Peach Alley for an attempted suicide.

— A suspicious man was reported at 9:51 a.m. Monday in the area of the former New Dimension sitting in the grass. After a welfare check, he went on his way.

— A female complainant reported at 11:20 p.m. Monday in the 700 block of Avondale Street that a man had pulled a gun on her outside her mother’s residence, accusing her of stealing heroin from him.

— Police investigated a complaint at 6:43 p.m Monday in the 300 block of North Shadylane to investigate a marijuana odor at Heights Manor.

— Officers responded at 8:55 p.m. Sunday in the 100 block of West Sixth Street for a possible domestic.

— Suspicious activity was reported at 6:59 pm. Sunday behind the V Nails where a male subject allegedly was meeting his girlfriend. They were advised to exit the property.

— A parking ticket was issued to an unnamed driver of a Maroon Subaru at 1:52 p.m. Sunday that was parked against the flow of traffic.

— Michelle Brown, no address listed, was cited at 9:48 p.m. Sunday for no operator’s license, after an officer observed a truck go over the fog line on the road near the Jennings Randolph Bridge. A licensed passenger drove the vehicle from the scene.

— A Gardendale Street woman reported at 6:45 p.m. Sunday that she had been receiving threatening e-mails from a former employee. She was advised on the process for seeking a protection order.

— Matthew W. Juillerat, no address listed, was served with several warrants at 2:38 a.m. Sunday in the first block of Peach Alley, where he had been sitting in his vehicle for an extended time. The vehicle is well known for narcotics trafficking. A piece of cardboard with white powder on it before he was handed over to Canfield Police Department. There is no notation what happened to the potential evidence once police found it in the report.

— An officer responded to an altercation at 11:14 p.m. Saturday in the 500 block of Wilbert Avenue between neighbors.

— Police responded at 4:54 p.m. Saturday to a dispute in the 1000 block of Ambrose Avenue over parking and cats.

— Bobbi Wilson, no address listed, was cited at 12:13 p.m. Saturday in the first block of state Route 39 for going 74 in a 50 mph zone.

— Michael D. Johnston, no address listed, was arrested at 11:47 pm. Saturday in the first block of Parkway on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to control, after a single-vehicle crash. Dispatch had received two calls about a vehicle going over the hill and that the driver was intoxicated. Johnston allegedly claimed to have wrecked while texting coming around the bend. He exhibited physical signs of impairment and admitted to having two drinks at a birthday party. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and threatened to kill himself after learning he was being charged.

— Police responded at 8:03 p.m. Saturday to a domestic in the 500 block of Wilbert Avenue. The complainant, who was pregnant, refused to pursue charges.

— Downtown Dollar General reported at 7:08 p.m. Saturday that they received a counterfeit $20 bill, which allegedly the customer had received when checking out at Walmart.

— A resident at 1089 Mapletree Street was informed at 11:45 p.m. Friday that she needed to vacate her premises as her landlord, whom she entered in a rent-to-own agreement with, was aware that the house was not to be inhabited due to the city planning department.

— A Riverview Towers resident reported at 8:43 a.m. Saturday that she is being harassed by a man who parks below her window in the parking lot. The area was checked with no contact.

— A resident of the 2300 block of St. Clair Avenue reported that sometime between 11 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday someone stole two Trump yard signs from his lawn.

Lisbon

–Police responded to a residential burglar alarm going off on North Market Street a 6:54 p.m. Tuesday, but the building was found to be secure.

–An East Washington Street man reported Monday a Trump sign was stolen from his yard.

–The county dog warden was called on Monday to deal with two dogs on the loose on West Washington Street. The dogs belonged to Bethany Cianni.

–A West Lincoln Way man with a western European-sounding last name reported Monday hearing someone outside say ” A wetback lives inside that house. I’m going to smash his brains out.” He did not see who said this.

–A caller reported there was a drunk man behind the car wash next to the Circle K at 12:45 a.m. Sunday. The man said he was not drunk and had just bought the beer. The officer said the man was not drunk and the beer in his bag was unopened.

County Sheriff

–A deputy was asked to check someone living on Yeager Drive, Madison Township, at 5:08 p.m. Wednesday. The deputy was told at the house the person he was looking for had moved to another state.
