— A suspicious person was reported in the area of a home on state Route 45, Madison Township, near West Point at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday. The area was checked and no one was located.
— A suspicious person was reported in the area of a pull off near Guilford Lake off Depot Road, Center Township at 9:34 p.m. Wednesday.
— K-9 Hunter and Deputy Damin Beadnell responded to sniff the air near a vehicle on Black Road at 8:58 p.m. Saturday. No narcotics were indicated in the vehicle. Marijuana was found later on the driver.
— A state Route 558, Leetonia, woman reported at 7 p.m., Sunday another tenants child came into the park, slammed on the brakes and began yelling at her special needs grandson. Then the other child began videoing him.
–Sean Diltz of Geneva reported Friday his property at 302 N. Market St. had been vandalized. The damages involved large rocks surrounding the property, and a neighbor told him some youths have been seen sitting on the rocks.
–An officer assisted a sheriff’s deputy in arresting a woman for domestic violence on state Route 164 south near Mattix Road at 9 p.m. Thursday.
–David Crawford, East Lincoln Way, reported Saturday the catalytic converter was stolen from his RV while it was parked on Jackson Street near his brother’s home.
–Two young men were injured after one wrecked into the other while riding ATVs on East Liverpool Road in Madison Township at 9:19 p.m. Sept. 4. Joseph N. Perkins, 19, Morris Road, Lisbon, and Triston G.D. Higgins, 22, Y & O Road, Wellsville, were both driving north on near Y-Camp Road when Perkins drove into the rear of Higgins’ ATV, causing them to wreck. Both were taken to area hospitals with serious facial/head injuries and neither were wearing safety equipment. Perkins was cited for failure to stop an assured cleared distance, and both were cited for driving off-road vehicles on a public roadway.
