LISBON — Robert W. Reckner, 40, Wilbert Avenue, East Liverpool, was sentenced to 18 months in prison by Common Pleas Court Judge Megan Bickerton. Reckner had pleaded guilty to complicity to burglary in June for leaving a window unlocked at the residence of Alyvia Blankenship on Jan. 29, 2016, so other persons could break in and steal a TV, which was later sold for drugs.

Reckner told Bickerton he has lived a life of drugs, but was trying to change things now, be a father to his children and a grandfather to his grandchildren.

“I admit it,” Reckner said. “I make no excuses. I was using. I didn’t care what happened. All I cared about was getting my next high.”

Duane A. Wilson, 40, New Garden Avenue, Salem, was found eligible for intervention in lieu of conviction, pleaded guilty to aggravated possession of drugs for having oxycodone on March 30, 2019, and was placed on a three-year treatment program.
