— Dawn Wells, no address listed, was arrested at 5:06 p.m. Aug. 3 in Walmart on a petty theft charge, after allegedly failing to pay for $403.65 worth of merchandise in the self checkout lane.
— A Dale Street woman reported at 12:20 p.m. July 31 that on three separate occasions, vehicles have come to her home uninvited and when confronted have sped off. Due to her recently having gained custody of two children, she is concerned about the people’s intentions.
— Lexalyn Butler, no address listed, was arrested at 5:49 p.m. July 31 in Walmart on a charge of petty theft after allegedly failing to pay for $90.44 worth of merchandise in the self checkout lane.
— Sierra Bable, no address listed, was served at 2:35 a.m. Aug. 2 with a warrant out of the Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office in the 15000 block of St. Clair Avenue.
— Lucas Kroesen, no address listed, was arrested at 3:36 p.m. July 30 in Walmart on a charge of petty theft, after allegedly failing to pay for $62.38 worth of merchandise in the self checkout lane.
— Police spoke to minor children at 1:57 p.m. Aug. 4 in the 800 block of Cadmus Street after they aggravated an elderly neighbor by using profanity and trespassing into her yard.
— A warrant check of a home in the 2000 block of Michigan Street at 12:24 p.m. Aug. 4 proved unsuccessful for a subject after officers had just missed the suspect who left one shoe in the back yard.
— A driver was given a verbal warning at 1:25 a.m. Aug. 4 in the first block of Mulberry Street for no license plate light. Another verbal warning was issued for a traffic violation at 4:56 a.m. Aug. 4 in the area of Grand Ford.
— A female accuser reported at 7:39 a.m. Aug. 4 an identified person had violated a July protection order in the 800 block of Lisbon Street a few days prior. Her report and photos will be forwarded to the prosecutor’s office for review.
— A manager at Blossom Hill apartments had reported just before 1 p.m. July 31 that an identified individual had entered another apartment and removed property without permission.
— A missing four wheeler was reported at 8:38 p.m. Aug. 4 in the 800 block of Logan Street.
— Charles Wilke, no address listed, was served with a warrant at 3:19 p.m. Aug. 4 in the first block of Reynolds.
— Officers investigated a disturbance at 1:34 a.m. Aug. 4 in the 500 block of Goulding Street. A mother and daughter denied any violence.
— A city man reported at 12:49 p.m. Aug. 4 that he was in the process of moving when he discovered a firearm missing. He will call back if recovered or with the serial number if not located in a box.
— Matthew Sharp, no address listed, was arrested at 10:31 a.m. Aug. 3 in the first block of West 9th Street on charges of possessing drug abuse instruments, driving under 12 point suspension and a stop sign violation. The report failed to say if a driver, who was apparently unlicensed, was cited.
— Police responded at 9:50 p.m. Aug. 4 to the 300 block of Moore Street for a suicidal female.
— An area resident wanted documentation of an $800 deposit, which he alleged he made to John Conner’s tree service several weeks ago and they never did the job. His calls continue to be unanswered, he said at 10:46 a.m. Aug. 3.
— A resident reported a firearm missing at 5:34 p.m. Aug. 3 in the 900 block of St. Clair Avenue. He said that someone took a Ruger .380 from his unlocked vehicle.
— Donna J. Potts, no address listed, was arrested at 6:31 a.m. Aug. 3 in the 700 block of Dresden Avenue on a drug paraphernalia charge after police came to the area to investigate a female lying down and not moving. She told officers that she went there after she got in an argument with her boyfriend and possessed a bag, which contained a glass pipe used to smoke crystal meth after a consent search. This was the day after police had responded to the area for a crying female, checking Potts for warrants.
— A naked male was seen peeking in windows at 9:12 p.m. Aug. 2 in the 200 block of Needham Street. The report didn’t say if an ambulance that was called serviced the alleged peeper, the victim or another subject.
— A woman reported shortly after midnight Aug. 2 in the 1400 block of Trentvale Street that she was being harassed by a male subject. She was advised to block him on her phone and social media to avoid contact.
— A male subject outside the Dairy Queen was sleeping in a van at 5 p.m. Aug. 2 when police answered a welfare check request. He told them he was just “wasting some time before church.”
— Police did a welfare check at 11:14 p.m. Aug. 2 on a subject in the 400 block of Vine Street. They had negative contact.
— Employees at Gina’s Drive Thru reported shortly after midnight Aug. 2 that a known subject was calling and harassing them. They requested extra checks until they closed the store.
— Subjects in the 500 block of Elm Street were informed at 7:18 p.m. Aug. 3 of the proper eviction procedure when they wanted an intoxicated female evicted.
— A deputy was dispatched to Miller Road at 4:48 p.m. Saturday for a subject walking in the road. No contact was made.
— A domestic dispute was reported at 7:06 p.m. Friday in the 22000 block of Coldale Street. Upon arrival, no one was found at the address.
— A female was advised of her options in regards to custody issues at 3:06 p.m. Saturday in the 7300 block of State Line Road.
— Crews responded at 10:33 a.m. Saturday to the Dollar General in Alliance, after a driver backed into the U.S. Route 62 store location.
— Deputies responded to a harassment complaint at 2:29 p.m. Thursday in the 44000 block of Y &O Road. A male advised that he didn’t want a named female to continue contacting him. The named female told deputies that the complainant had been bothering her. She was told since she lived in East Liverpool, she would need to file a report there. However, she was advised if she continued to contact the male that she would be charged.
— A West Township man reported at 8:56 p.m. Thursday that an identified individual was harassing him and the man’s soon-to-be ex-wife.
— Abram St. John Petersen, no address listed, was served at 3:08 p.m. Thursday in the 26000 block of Hartley Road with three active warrants out of Columbiana County, after a deputy was sent to his residence to investigate a domestic violence complaint. The warrants were for failure to appear on child support (two counts) and failure to appear on domestic violence.
— A Ridge Road woman reported at 10:44 p.m. Saturday that someone shot at her bathroom window.
— A Maple Street resident reported at 3:10 a.m. Sunday that a vehicle struck her back porch and propane tank. The state patrol is handling the crash report.
— A $1,000 reward is being offered for the arrest and conviction of vandals who broke out a front plate glass window sometime before 8:16 p.m. Wednesday at the former IGA in the first block of West Main Street.
— Officers responded to several residences on West Main and Jefferson streets, where vehicles had their tires slashed and paint scratched sometime before noon Aug. 1.
— An abandoned bicycle was recovered at 10:59 a.m. Aug. 1 in the 500 block of Jefferson Street.
— Police and North Star EMS responded at 10:36 a.m. Aug. 1 to the first block of Mill Street for a medical emergency.
— A domestic violence incident was reported at 9:15 a.m. Aug. 1 in the 100 block of East Main Street. No other information was reported.
