— A woman reported that a man has been using her address for his mailing address at 4:16 p.m. Wednesday. She said that he went to the post office and had them hold all mail with the woman’s address on it. He also got a new driver’s license from the BMV with her address on it. The woman advised that she does not know who the man is and that he has never lived at the residence. The BMV and post office advised her to make a report with the sheriff’s office.
— Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Hibbetts Mill Road to a third party report of a domestic dispute at 10:06 p.m. Wednesday. Upon arrival at the residence, deputies did not locate anyone on the property.
— A man reported that he had lent his vehicle to a friend, who was arrested the other day, and his vehicle was towed to Leetonia at 11:57 p.m. Thursday. The man said he picked up his car but didn’t notice that the license plates were not his. He said that he didn’t know who took the license plates off his vehicle. A stolen license plate report was signed by the man, and the plates were entered as stolen.
— Jose J. Gonzalez, 34, of Youngstown, was cited for OVI, failure to control, hit-skip, and operating a vehicle without a valid license when he drove off the right side of state Route 154 in Middleton Township and struck a fence before leaving the scene at 8:53 p.m. July 31. After being located in a private driveway in Negley, it was determined that Gonzalez was impaired, as he allegedly had glossy eyes, a strong odor of alcohol and two cans of open beer in the car.
