LISBON — A Sept. 17 preliminary hearing and pretrial was set for county Municipal Court Dylan Young, 18, Youngstown, charged with improper handling of firearms in a motor vehicle for allegedly having a loaded gun between the driver’s seat and the center console during a traffic stop on Friday, as well as a misdemeanor citations for speeding and possession of marijuana.

Christopher James Uscianowski, 32, Unity Road, New Springfield, was credited with a day in jail, sentenced to 29 additional days in jail, fined $400 and required 40 hours community service for disorderly conduct and carrying a concealed weapon. He was ordered to have no further contact with Salem High School or the Salem City Schools, where on Feb. 18, Uscianowski was intoxicated, carrying a switch blade knife, running erratically through the parking lot while yelling and throwing himself on the ground, claiming someone was chasing him while pointing to random passing cars and causing the school to go into a soft lock down.

James W. Blaschak II, 22, Clark Avenue, Wellsville, was fined $250, credited with two days served in jail and required 40 hours community service for domestic violence amended from a second-degree felony assault for threatening his father with a long knife.

Kevin Michael Curtis, 26, Fair Avenue, Salem, was credited with 12 days served, sentenced to an additional 63 days in jail and fined $300 for possession of a drug abuse instrument and obstructing official business amended from tampering with evidence for attempting to hide a syringe when he handed his coffee cup to another person when he was arrested on a warrant on July 3.

Matthew P. Hardenbrook, 26, state Route 517, Columbiana, was fined $650, had his license suspended for 180 days, sentenced to three days in jail and required 40 hours community service for failure to comply, possession of marijuana, marijuana paraphernalia, loud exhaust and a tail light violation. Instead of stopping for police trying to pull him over, Hardenbrook continued driving.

An Aug. 10 pretrial was set for Nickole Marie Hoschar, 28, Randle Road, Hanoverton, charged with domestic violence for attacking Benjamin Potts by grabbing him by the throat and chasing him with a pair of scissors on Sunday.

A Sept. 21 pretrial was set for Samantha A. Hollaway, 40, South Lincoln Avenue, Salem, charged with obstructing official business and menacing for allegedly threatening to spit on Jakob Graffius and “whoop his (rear)” on July 20 and then refusing to speak with police investigating the incident, shutting her sliding glass door and pulling the curtains closed.

Aaron J. Wolford, 24, Prichard Avenue, Lisbon, was credited with 20 days served in jail, sentenced to an additional 10 days in jail, fined $250 and required 40 hours community service for domestic violence for striking his sister, Sabrina Wolford in the face on July 14, while she was holding a baby.

An Aug. 10 pretrial was set for Zackary James McFarland, 22, Washington Street, Washingtonville, charged with domestic violence for allegedly choking Ashley Sekely and smashing her phone after she attempted to call for help on Saturday.

A Sept. 21 pretrial was set for Chase W. Perkins, 22, Roosevelt Avenue, Salem, charged with menacing and disorderly conduct for allegedly threatening and spitting on Breanna Minniti during a road rage incident in a parking lot in Salem on June 11.

Jeffrey A. McCourt, 61, Oak Grove Road, Salineville, was fined $150, credited with two days in jail and required 40 hours community service for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence. On March 12, McCourt assaulted his stepson, punching him in the side of the mouth and grabbing him under his left arm.

A Sept. 22 pretrial was set for Trenton K. Ritchey, 18, West Indiana Avenue, Sebring, charged with obstructing official business for allegedly refusing to give his name or answer questions during a traffic stop on Saturday.

Anthony M. Gregory, 33, Plymouth Place, Salem, was fined $350 and required 20 hours community service for driving under a 12-point suspension.

William J. McFarland Jr., 29, South 13th Street, Sebring, was fined $280 for driving under suspension and failure to control.

Corey Miller, 28, East Park Avenue, Columbiana, was fined $150 and required 20 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Dakota Ray Robinson, 20, Miller Road, Leetonia, was fined $200 for driving under suspension and speeding.

Angelique Theresa Zetts, 27, Campbell, was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.

A Sept. 29 pretrial was set for Kelly M. Howard, 37, Globe Street, East Liverpool, cited with assured clear distance and a seat belt violation.
