East Liverpool

— Suspicious drug activity was reported at 7:47 p.m. Saturday in the 1900 block of Ohio Avenue.Officers couldn’t make contact with subjects.

— Police responded at 6:02 p.m. Saturday to the 1400 block of Globe Street, where a woman was requesting officers remove a male that she was allowing to stay with her. She was advised of the proper eviction procedures.

— Suspected marijuana use was reported at 9:19 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of North Shadylane

— Officers responded at 4:09 a.m. Saturday to the city street garage on Pennsylvania Avenue, where a caller reported a possible break-in. The building was secure.

— A woman said she was upset but not suicidal as reported at 6:59 p.m. Friday in the 200 block of Wilbert Avenue area.

— David Wayne Belt, no address provided, was arrested at 4:41 a.m. Thursday in the 300 block of Woodlawn Avenue on a domestic violence charge, after allegedly making threats against a female family member. The charge was elevated to a first-degree misdemeanor due to three prior convictions.

— The owner of an east end group home reported at 10:47 p.m. Thursday that a resident of the facility made threats against the home’s occupants and staff. He was loaded into an ambulance and transported to the East Liverpool City Hospital emergency room.

— A large group gathering to fight outside Gina’s Drive-Thru dispersed at 8:43 p.m. Thursday before police arrived.

— Hospital staff reported at 8:07 p.m. Friday that subjects smuggled in a rice cereal bar containing a loaded syringe containing an unknown substance to a patient currently at the facility for opiate addiction.

— An officer observed an intoxicated male lying on the sidewalk near the police station at 6:05 p.m. Friday and provided him a ride home.

County Sheriff

— A Bayard Road woman reported at 10:06 p.m. Friday she has custody of her 3-year-old grandson and when he came home from visiting his mother, he had a hand print on his face.

–A Spillway Road, Hanover Township, man reported a woman was tearing up the trailer at 11:06 p.m. Saturday. Deputies had been at the home for a domestic dispute after a call at 10:16 p.m. Saturday. The woman had been intoxicated and uncooperative and deputies had warned if they returned she would be charged. Mandy Spahr, 42, Lowellville, was charged with disorderly conduct.

— A domestic violence incident was reported at 11:44 p.m. Friday at a U.S. Route 30, West Township, home where both the husband and wife signed a refusal to prosecute the other.

— Deputies assisted the Highway Patrol with a one-vehicle accident in the 42000 block of state Route 39 in Yellow Creek Township at 3:03 a.m. Sunday.

— A man reported at 10:29 p.m. Friday someone took his truck from the Franklin Square area near state Route 558, Salem Township.
