LISBON — In county Municipal Court, Brandon S. Gust, 21, Shadyside, was bound over to the grand jury on charges of escape, obstructing official business, resisting arrest and criminal mischief. On June 14, while in custody, Gust allegedly jumped from a second story window attempting to flee from Leetonia police. Gust is further accused of punching out a window to a door at Chestnut Street address to flee while he was being detained for questioning and resisting being placed into hand restraints.

An Aug. 25 pretrial was set for Evan Patrick McMullen, 50, U.S. Route 30, Minerva, charged with OVI third offense and headlights required.

A July 2 pretrial was set for Youceff Brahime, Main Street, Leetonia, charged with domestic violence and obstructing official business for allegedly striking his wife, Emmy Logan, in the face on Thursday and then refusing to give police his name or personal information when they came to the home. His bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety.

An Aug. 3 pretrial was set for Jessica Lynn Price, Austintown, cited with misuse of credit card and theft for allegedly taking a wallet found on the ground at the Dollar General in Lisbon and using the credit card inside to make two purchases on March 18.

An Aug. 6 pretrial was set for Joey Bedenbough, 40, Akron, charged with criminal damaging for allegedly damaging a vehicle windshield with a rake in Lisbon on May 2.

Samuel T. Powell, 29, Center Street, Wellsville, signed a waiver of extradition so he can be returned to Pennsylvania, where he is facing a charge of retail theft.

Tyler L. Timmann, 20, West Ninth Street, Salem, was fined $350 and sentenced to seven days in jail for underage consumption after he was found on the side of the road near the railroad tracks intoxicated with his dog in Salem at around 4 a.m. Friday.

Brandon Douglas, 38, Ohio Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $280 for driving under suspension and a red light violation.

Steven P. Summers, 24, South Liberty Avenue, Alliance, was fined $250 for driving under suspension.

Mark A. Brewer, 43, Main Street, Wellsville, was fined $150, credited with a day in jail and sentenced to an additional 13 days in jail for possession of drug paraphernalia for a bag containing residue of heroin or cocaine that fell from his pocket on Thursday.

Joshua E. Killing, 24, Salem-Washingtonville Road, Hanoverton, was fined $75 for improper registration.

A July 23 pretrial was set for John B. Groner, 33, Cherry Valley Road, Leetonia, cited with failure to reinstate a license.
