— A deputy responded to the Deer Run Mobile Home Park on Salem-Alliance Road, Salem, to check on a man at 8:07 p.m. Tuesday, who said he was out of his medication and it was affecting how he was thinking. He could not get more medication until Saturday. He requested to go to the hospital to see if they could help him with his paranoia.

— A Rose Drive, Center Township, boy reported at 4:33 p.m. Tuesday his mother had threatened to hit him with a weight. He said his mother had grounded him, but he forgot he was grounded and went to a friend’s house after school for a little while. The mother told deputies, “I didn’t threaten him. I made a promise.” Additionally, she told deputies she was aware of the laws and was more than willing to go to jail to make sure her son was on the straight and narrow. She was warned to watch what she says to the boy and the boy signed a domestic violence refusal. Deputies reminded him to listen to his mother.

— A Hadley Road, Unity Township, couple went to the East Palestine Police Department at 12:32 p.m. Sunday and reported their 13-year-old son was punching holes in the walls of the house. Deputies were on another call when notified about the couple’s complaint. Deputies called the family back later for a report, but they had not returned the call as of Wednesday.
