LISBON — Michael Raymond Miller, 36, state Route 45, Lisbon, pleaded guilty in Common Pleas Court to OVI. He faces up to 30 months in prison, a $10,500 fine, a lifetime license suspension and a vehicle forfeiture. Miller was driving while under the influence on Feb. 12, 2019, when he has three prior OVI convictions. Sentencing is set for May 14.
Nancy Germanovich, 71, state Route 45, Lisbon, doing business as Slik Pick Industries, pleaded guilty to three counts of theft, which were lesser included charges from the fifth-degree felony charges she was initially charged with. She faces up to a year and a half in jail and a $3,000 fine at the time of sentencing on May 22. Germanovich was charged for depriving R&J Motors Co. LLC of $6,500 on Oct. 16, 2018; Shift’ N Gears, Inc. of $5,470 on Jan. 23, 2019 and Peace and Loave Towing LLC of $6,595 on Jan. 29. A plea hearing has been set for March 6 for her co-defendant Daniel Germanovich, 45, of the same address, who is also charged with three counts of theft.
Preston L. English, 26, Wilbert Avenue, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty to domestic violence and possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony, for drugs he had on April 20, 2019. He faces up to two and a half years in prison, a $7,500 fine and a license suspension of up to five years. Sentencing is set for March 6. On Oct. 11, English harmed Sara-Elizabeth Smith, a former girlfriend and mother of his children, fighting with her new boyfriend and then choking her before slamming her to the ground.
Daniel B. Reed, 32, Rose Drive, Lisbon, pleaded guilty to two counts of trafficking in marijuana and one count of aggravated possession of drugs with a forfeiture specification. Reed had been engaging in the sale of less than 200 grams of marijuana on both March 2, 2018 and March 7, 2018. Additionally, he had tetrahydrocannibinol on March 9, 2018, along with $1,082 in drug-related funds. He was placed on a four years community control., including up to six months at the Eastern Ohio Correction Center.
Jacki Lynn Hruby, 58, Hoopes Road, Salem, pleaded guilty to illegal use of supplement benefits or WIC Program Benefits and Medicaid fraud. Some assistance she received between April 1, 2014 and March 31, 2019, while other assistance she was receiving on April 1, 2017 through Feb. 28, 2019. She is facing up to three years in prison and a $10,000 fine. Sentencing is set for April 30.
Kelly A. Stoddard, 33, Lincoln Avenue, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty to possession of a fentanyl-related compound, for drugs in her possession on March 28, 2019. Stoddart was placed on three years community control.
Nickolas Polin Perez, 28, Firestone Avenue, Columbiana, was found eligible for intervention in lieu of conviction and pleaded guilty to aggravated possession of drugs for having amphetamines on June 12, 2018. Perez was placed on a three-year intervention program.
William C. Jackson, 37, Pittsburgh, Pa., stipulated to violating his community control on a possession of drugs charge. His community control was dishonorably terminated and he was sentenced 25 days in jail with credit for 15 days already served. The drug charge was for having cocaine on April 2, 2018.
