County Sheriff

— A deputy was dispatched to Main Street in Knox Township for a welfare check around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. The deputy did not locate anyone.

— A deputy responded to Old state Route 344 in Salem Township for an assault around 2:15 p.m. Saturday.

— Deputies responded to the 33000 block of Speidel Road in Hanover Township for an assault around 4 p.m. Friday. After determining there was no evidence of assault the deputies advised both parties they will be forwarding the incident to the prosecutor’s office to determine if charges will be filed.

— Deputies responded to a two car accident on private property around 1:30 p.m. on Friday. The accident happened in a parking lot on Hibbetts Mill Road where a Dodge Ram backed into a Toyota Tundra.

— Grant Adams was arrested after being connected to a gas station robbery in New Waterford Saturday. K9 Hunter helped New Waterford Police, and K9 Csuti of Columbiana Police, with tracking Adams around 11 p.m. on Saturday. The K9s were unable to find Adams, because he left in a vehicle, but deputies determined it was Adams and arrested him at a Taylor Avenue residence.
