— Police responded at 3:25 p.m. Thursday to the 1200 block of Fairmont Street to an alarm drop.
— A suspicious person was reported at 4:07 p.m. Thursday in the first block of Dresden Avenue near the playground on Morris Street.
— Officers attempted to serve a warrant at 8:02 p.m. Thursday in the 500 block of Central Avenue.
— Dustin McCartney Jr., 21, of Lisbon, was traveling on Rochester Road in Knox Township when his vehicle caught fire at 7:32 p.m. Jan. 11. McCartney Jr. was not injured.
— Police were dispatched to the pavilion, by the pool and park, for a suspicious vehicle at 8:43 p.m. Wednesday. A caller reported that there were flames coming from the pavilion, and police put out a small fire that was lit under the pavilion. Pages of a phone book and a plastic coffee can were lit on fire. An officer spoke with neighbors, who advised that they’ve seen a blue 2000’s model Chrysler there every day for the past two weeks at the same time. Police said they will watch the park and pavilion carefully.
— A Taylor Road, Negley, woman reported at 7:38 a.m. Wednesday dogs entered their chicken coop and killed the chickens. There were reportedly two dogs — a male boxer and a female mix breed — which had entered the a-frame chicken coop, forcing their way through a corner where the metal was not secured. The carcasses of 28 chickens were strewn throughout the coop. The dog warden secured the dogs, which had gotten stuck inside the coop after they entered it, and they were taken to the pound until their owner comes forward.
