Big Oaker appeals sentence hearing
LISBON — One of the main defendants in the Operation Big Oak case, Allen Jackson, 27, Cleveland, has filed an appeal involving his sentencing hearing. Jackson was sentenced to eight years in prison on Nov. 1 by Judge Megan Bickerton on 14 counts, including engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity and participating in a criminal gang. The notice of appeal was a handwritten document. The appeal will be sent to the Seventh District Court of Appeals.
