— Child endangering charges may be pending against subjects stopped at 11:28 a.m. Nov. 15 inside the township for a traffic infraction that had occurred inside the city, as there was allegedly children inside the vehicle during the use of illegal drugs. The prosecutor is reviewing the evidence at this time.
— A female subject in the 700 block of Valley Street reported that someone appeared to have shot out her rear window with a pellet gun overnight Nov. 15.
— A subject in the 300 block of Duncan Avenue reported that someone took a couple packages valued at $50 off his porch shortly before 7:23 a.m. Nov. 19. He requested extra patrols in the neighborhood..
— Officers responded at 4:14 p.m. Nov. 16 for a dispute between two women at Dollar General, where one was angry about the other woman photographing her and her child. Officers relayed that she was in a public place, and it is not illegal to do so.
–Salem police contacted officers regarding a possible missing juvenile being located at an address in the 2400 block of St. Clair Avenue shortly before 4:14 p.m. Nov. 16. She was not found there.
— City Hospital reported at 4:52 p.m. Nov. 16 that an overdose victim left their facility, allegedly uttering suicidal tendencies but employees couldn’t describe his vehicle or direction of travel.
— Tabbitha Oiler, no address given, was cited for no operator’s license at 9:53 p.m. Nov. 16, after being observed pulling out to the Giant Eagle parking lot on Bradshaw Avenue with no headlights illuminated.
— A subject was given a warning for loud exhaust at 6:36 p.m. Nov. 16 on state Route 7.
— A female subject reported at 5:03 p.m. Nov. 16 in the 100 block of Reynolds Street that she received threatening text messages from known persons.
–A subject who ran a red light at 9:27 p.m. Nov. 16 in the 800 block of West 8th Street was given a verbal warning.
— A subject driving a silver Kia without an illuminated plate light was given a verbal warning at 6:28 p.m. Nov. 16 in the 900 block of West 8th Street.
— A suspicious person was reported at 11:29 p.m. Nov. 18 in the 200 block of Needham Street, but officers were not able to located the unknown male after reviewing the Ring video.
— Possible gunshots were reported in the 1000 block of Ambrose Avenue shortly before 1 a.m. Nov. 19. The sound is believed to have come from an empty carton of M-80s in the Laura Avenue and Bank Street area.
— Brittani S. Price, 33, Saltwell Road, was cited Tuesday for letting her dog run loose.
— Subway employees called at 9:23 p.m. Monday to report a known person with mental issues showed up and was not making sense. When the woman left she was talking about someone putting the knife in her back. Police checked on the woman, who said she was not going to harm herself and she does not even have any knives.
