East Liverpool Municipal Court

EAST LIVERPOOL — In, East Liverpool Municipal Court, Roy O. Moffett III, Union Ridge Road, Negley, was sentenced to 20 days in jail for a probation violation.

Danielle Simons, East Fifth Street, was fined $150 and given 10 days in jail (imposed) and had her license suspended 180 days for drug paraphernalia.

Anthony Anderson, Midland, Pa., was fined $280 for no license and failure to signal.

Brandon L. Webber, Dresden Avenue, was fined $30 on a seat belt violation.

Pretrial was set Nov. 21 for Shawn A. Osborn, Clark Avenue, Wellsville, charged with violating a protection order.

Kara J. Hess, Ohio Avenue, is scheduled for pretrial Jan. 2 for no license and leaving the scene.

Cody A. Quimby, Vine Street, is set for a second arraignment Nov. 25 on a domestic violence charge.

Pretrial was set Nov. 25 for Lawrence E. Messenger Jr., Sanford Street, on OVI (refusal) and traffic control device charges.

Municipal Court

LISBON — A Nov. 25 preliminary hearing was set in county Municipal Court for Joseph D. Haynes, 39, North Pearl Street, Columbiana, charged with violating a temporary protection order for allegedly driving with Kailin Griffin, a protected person, in the back seat of his vehicle on Nov. 16.

A Dec. 2 pretrial was set for Cody Allan Dehoff, 30, Beaver Circle, Columbiana, cited with OVI second offense.

Mia Nicole Sheets, 29, Carbon Hill Road, East Palestine, was fined $500, credited with 14 days in jail, sentenced to 21 additional days in jail and required 40 hours community service for driving under suspension, obstructing official business, drug paraphernalia for a pipe and endangering children for having a 1-year-old boy in the vehicle with her.

A Jan. 6 pretrial was set for Ronald A. Shaffer, 47, Darlington, Pa., charged with criminal damaging and menacing. On Nov. 13, Shaffer allegedly lit a cigarette while in the Original Roadhouse in East Palestine and refused to put it out or step outside when requested by the manager, Taylor Snyder. Then Shaffer allegedly stood up, asked Snyder if he wanted to fight and then grabbed a full bottle of beer by the neck as if he was going to hit Snyder just before he was restrained by several employees.

A Jan. 7 pretrial was set for Eric M. Gustafson, 46, state Route 558, Leetonia, charged with domestic violence for allegedly putting his hands around the throat of Abby Gustafson’s, his wife, to choke her on Nov. 16.

Logan A. Rodden, 20, West Middletown Road, Beloit, was credited with a day in jail, sentenced to an additional four days in jail, required 40 hours community service and fined $300 for obstructing official business and disorderly conduct. On Oct. 28, Rodden was pacing back and forth in the middle of the roadway after being told multiple times to stay on the sidewalk and failing to identify himself when questioned by Lisbon police.

A Nov. 25 pretrial was set for Jack R. Veon II, 41, Quincy Avenue, Columbiana, charged with theft for allegedly tampering with his shut off electric service to take 66KWH of electricity sometime between Sept. 27 and Oct. 11.

Talisa D. Lewis, 30, Independence Square, Wellsville, was fined $150 for disorderly conduct amended from obstructing official business for claiming there was no one in the home just before police, searching for Robert Martin, found him leaving the back of her apartment and climbing a fence.

Augustina M. Newman, 46, Wellsville, was fined $300, credited with a day in jail and required 40 hours community service for criminal damaging and disorderly conduct amended from assault for harming Dan Wallace on July 4.

Ashley Cox, 30, Sprucevale Road, East Liverpool, was credited with three days in jail fined $380 for drug paraphernalia, a registration violation, two counts of driving under suspension and a seat belt violation.

Breann M. Cappelli, 22, Kirk Road, Columbiana, was fined $200 for driving under suspension.

A Jan. 14 pretrial was set for Katelynn N. Ritchie, 21, Garwood Street, Alliance, cited with driving under FRA suspension and a seat belt violation.

Curtis E. Mackall, 60, Wood Street, East Palestine, was fined $175 and required 25 hours community service.

David J. Koty, 53, Beaver Falls, Pa., was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.

Jonathan Scott Morrissey Kacenski, 23, West Park Avenue, Columbiana, was fined $150 for possession of marijuana.

Howard J. Babik, 48, Adams Road, Rogers, was fined $100 for expired license.

A Jan. 6 pretrial was set for Stephanie J. Morehead, 31, Ashley Lane, Columbiana, cited with possession of drug abuse instrument for allegedly having several syringes.

A Jan. 21 pretrial was set for Thomas A. Watkins, 47, East North Avenue, East Palestine, cited with telecommunications harassment for allegedly repeatedly calling the East Palestine Police Department 11 times after he did not like the answer he was given earlier on Sept. 29.

Adam L. Buckius, 26, state Route 558, Leetonia, was found incompetent and a menacing charge was dismissed.

A Jan. 14 pretrial was set for Joshua Glenn Steele, 30, Irish Ridge Road, East Liverpool, cited with driving under OVI suspension.

Richard R. Vecchio, 67, state Route 164, Lisbon, was fined $450 for three counts of public intoxication.

A Jan. 16 pretrial was set for Daniel D. Kyser, 32, Ridge Street, Leetonia, cited with speeding and failure to control.

Emmanuel Rex Foster, 31, Saint Clair Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $280 for possession of marijuana, driving under suspension and speeding.

A Jan. 21 pretrial was set for Dakota J. Metalik, 21, Monaca, Pa., cited with reckless operation.

A Dec. 16 sentencing hearing was set for Mary E. Northrup, 34, state Route 14, East Palestine, cited with driving under suspension.

An Na Cheng, 26, West Summit Street, Alliance, was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.
