EL man gets 6 months at EOCC for domestic violence

LISBON — In Common Pleas Court William Merle Blakovich III, 27, Vine Street, East Liverpool, was sentenced to a definite term of six months at the Eastern Ohio Correction Center and placed on three-years community control. Blakovich had credit for 68 days served on the domestic violence charge, which was for harming Kalin Ratkovich, a family or household member on April 5.

Edward Knox Jr., 27, Youngstown, was placed on three years community control for having a weapon while under disability, possession of heroin and possession of cocaine. Knox had a Smith and Wesson .38-caliber revolver, more than 30 grams of cocaine and .31 grams of heroin when a state Route 154, Rogers, house was searched by the Columbiana County Drug Task Force on May 23, 2018.

Tasha Tisdale, 51, Wilbert Avenue, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine for having the substance on Sept. 26, 2018. She faces up to a year in prison and a $2,500 fine. Sentencing is set for Jan. 16.
