HIGHWAY PATROL

— Gary H. Lake, 66, of Leetonia, struck a downed utility pole in the middle of Cunningham Road in Salem at 5:50 p.m. Thursday. The pole was already taken down by another driver.

— Zachary D. Baker, 19, of Salem, was cited for driving in marked lanes when his jeep entered the passing lane on state Route 11 in Beaver Township and struck the vehicle that Korey C. McMillan, 32, of Youngstown, was driving at 8:50 a.m. Tuesday. Baker was allegedly reaching for a dropped water bottle on the passenger side floor.

— Sheila M. Campbell, 41, of Homeworth, was cited for a traffic signal violation after running a red light at the intersection of Westville Lake Road and U.S. 62 in Knox Township and striking the vehicle of Daniel J. Clemens, 32, of Salem, at 8:11 a.m. Monday.

— Emery P. Ketchum, 29, of Lisbon, was cited for failure to control after driving off the side of state Route 172 in Hanover Township, striking an embankment and rolling over at 11:27 a.m. Sunday.

— Timothy W. Hearrell, 61, of Homeworth, was cited for a right of way violation after backing out of a driveway and striking the vehicle of Dennis J. Lodge, 63, of Lisbon, on state Route 518 in Wayne Township at 10:30 a.m. Monday.
