Highway Patrol/Lisbon Post
–Paige Pierce, 31, of East Palestine, was thrown from an ATV being driven by Dustin Pierce, 34, same address, on McClure Road in Unity Township at 7:40 p.m. Saturday. The ATV was rounding a bend when Ms. Pierce, who was wearing a helmet, fell off into a ditch.. She was taken by ambulance to an area hospital with suspected minor injuries. Mr. Pierce was cited for operating an ATV on a public roadway and failure to reinstate.
–Gray B. Miller, 51, of Pittsburgh, was cited for failure to stop an assured cleared distance after he drove into the Civic stopped in front of him, which was being operated by Carole S. Spooner, 62, of Salem. This occurred at the intersection of state Route 172 and U.S. Route 30 in Center Township at 7:39 p.m. Friday.
–Vehicles being driven by Brad W. Barker, 27, of Rochester, Pa., and Dan Sines, 56, of Wellsville, clipped each other as they passed going in the opposite direction on Sprouse Road in Yellow Creek Township at 3:28 p.m. Saturday. The accident occurred on a narrow blind curve on a gravel road, and both drivers said they were on their own side of the road.
