EAST LIVERPOOL — In East Liverpool Municipal Court, a Virginia Street man is scheduled for a preliminary hearing next month on felony charges. Kevin L. Reynolds originally was scheduled for his hearing Friday; however, the court date has been reset for Aug. 20.
Reynolds is accused of striking his live-in girlfriend during a domestic dispute when she attempted to call for help, causing visible injuries. In addition to the third-degree felony domestic violence charge, he also drew a having weapons under disability charge after officers found a firearm in his bedroom despite him being a convicted felon and being unable to legally possess guns. Reynolds also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, after police allege he was the owner of a bong used to consume marijuana in the residence.
In other action:
A trial was set July 31 for Angela L. Hopper, Toronto, on a left of center violation.
Justin R. Barrett, Laura Avenue, is scheduled to appear July 25 on charges of drug paraphernalia and possession of drugs. He also has been been labeled as a fugitive from justice, after a felony warrant out of Hancock County was issued for his arrest.
Zackery J. Strub, West Washington Street is scheduled for a pretrial Sept. 25 on charges of driving under suspension and possession of drug abuse instruments.
Seth A. Fraser, Irish Ridge Road, had a second arraignment scheduled July 26 for driving under suspension.
Samantha May, Chester, was scheduled for a pretrial Aug. 29 on a receiving stolen property charge.
William R. Potts Jr., Idaho Road, will have a second arraignment Sept. 26 on driving under suspension and possession of marijuana charges.
William A. Edgell, Sullivan Drive, was fined $250 for driving under suspension.
William Jacquet, Laura Avenue, will appear for a second arraignment July 26 on a receiving stolen property charge.
Brian Lee Cramer, Michigan Avenue, is set for pretrial July 25 on a possessing drug paraphernalia charge.
