A residential burglar alarm went off at 26800 Winona Road, Knox Township, at 5:21 p.m. Monday. No one was home but the residence was found to be secure.

Deputies were called to a home on a home on Carbon Hill Road, Middleton Township, at 8:35 p.m. Monday to check on the welfare of a child near the road. The deputy spoke to the child’s grandmother, who said the child had left the day before with his father.

Deputies were called to a home on Crestview Road, Fairfield Township, at 10:58 p.m. Monday after 79-year-old woman was found dead of apparent natural causes.

Deputies were called to a residence on Seigler Road, Washington Township, at 12:33 p.m. Sunday to check on three boys living there. The boys appeared fine, and the deputies spoke with the grandmother and the father of one of the children, who said everything was fine.

Deputies assisted Center Township police on a neighbor dispute at 39351 Center Ave. at 6:58 p.m. Tuesday. The argument was over property, and the Center Township officer handled the remainder of the call.

Lloyd Willis, Depot Street, Rogers, reported Sunday his home and garage were entered while he and his wife were asleep. He said his wallet was missing from where he put it in the house and then he discovered the doors to his four vehicles in the garage were partially open. The wallet was later found in the driveway, minus the cash, but nothing appeared to be missing from the vehicles.

A resident of 5589 Bayard Road, Knox Township, reported people were knocking on her windows at 11:37 p.m. Monday, and the neighbor’s dogs were also barking. A deputy checked the area but did not see anyone about.

Heidi L. Ferrario, state Route 14, Unity Township, reported her unlocked vehicle was entered Monday night and money inside was missing.
