Gregory C. Andrews, 27, Sprucevale Road, Rogers, was northbound on Sprucevale Road in Middleton Township at 9:20 p.m. Wednesday, while Shane R. Graves, 40, Franklin, Tenn., was westbound on Clarkson Road and failed to stop at the stop sign. Andrews struck the side of the pickup, owned by Brock Industrial LLC of Joliet, Ill. and driven by Graves. Andrews was listed with possible injuries, but refused treatment at the scene, and Graves was cited with failure to yield.
William A. Jessop, 45, South Main Street, Columbiana, was taken by Damascus EMS to the Salem Regional Medical Center with minor injuries after he went off the east side of Valley Road in Butler Township, striking a ditch and a utility pole before overturning at 1 p.m. Tuesday. Jessop was driving an International truck owned by Heartland Industries LLC of Salem and said he reached over for a water bottle when the accident occurred. He was cited with failure to control.
Darrick Ogg, 21, Neeld Road, East Palestine, was northbound on Millrock Road, Unity Township, at 7 a.m. Tuesday, when he drove off the right side of the road, struck culvert and became stuck in a ditch. Ogg said he swerved to miss a dog in the road. He was cited with failure to control and expired license.
Ashley Emmerling, 31, Grimms Bridge Road, East Liverpool, was following Nichole Bahen, 25, St. Clair Avenue, East Liverpool, southbound on state Route 7 in Middleton Township at 2:45 p.m. April 8. Both vehicles were stopped in traffic, but Emmerling let off the brake and struck the back of Bahen’s vehicle. Both Bahen and her passenger Lisa Jenkins, 55, Steubenville Pike, Hammondsville, were transported by New Waterford EMS with suspected minor injuries.
Brandy Lynn Ghrist, 44, Monroeville Heights, Salineville, was westbound on state Route 39 in Yellow Creek Township at 4:19 p.m. April 7 and began to slow down to make a right turn. A motorcycle behind her driven by Robert B. Owens, 44, Commerce Street, Wellsville, failed to stop in time and struck Ghrist’s Chevrolet HHR from behind. Owens and his passenger, Elizabeth Roberts, 36, state Route 39, Salineville, were transported by Lifeteam to East Liverpool City Hospital. Roberts had suspected minor injuries and Owens had suspected serious injuries. Ghrist and here passenger, Teresa Ann Brown, 52, Etruria Street, East Liverpool, were also listed with minor or suspected injuries respectively, but neither were treated at the scene. Owens was cited with assured clear distance.
Amy L. Ward, 49, Beaver Falls, Pa., was southbound on state Route 170 in Unity Township at 2:14 p.m. April 7, when she struck and killed a deer entering the roadway.
