East Liverpool Police Reports

Loud music was reported in the area of Bradshaw Avenue at 1 a.m. Saturday. Police could not hear music, but heard people speaking loudly. The resident was warned to keep it down for the night, but police received another call about 45 minutes later about a fight at the same house. This time police warned her that if this continues she will be cited. The resident said the party is over and there would be no more complaints.

A woman was reported sitting in the weeds by the roadway at the first pull off on Lisbon Street at 12:39 a.m. Saturday. Police checked Lisbon Street all the way to the city limits, but did not find anyone sitting in the weeds.

Someone was reported running through yards in the area of Spring Grove Avenue at 2:43 a.m. Saturday. Police found Zeth Davis, 19, and two children, who when they saw the patrol vehicle spotlight took off running through the cemetery despite orders to stop from police. Davis was found hiding behind a bush inside the cemetery with the two children. He claimed he was just walking the children home. Davis was charged with criminal trespassing.

A woman was escorted to a Sunnyside Avenue address at 8:48 p.m. Thursday so she could gather her belongings.

Someone reported Ryan Pritt, Fairview Street, was riding his ATV in the area of Ninth and Fairview Street at 3:50 p.m. Thursday. Police did not find anyone riding in the area.

Someone reported children attempting to break into an abandoned home on College Street at 7:43 p.m. Thursday. Police checked the area, but no one was found.

Justin Shaw, Riverview Street, reported at 1:16 a.m. Thursday there was a car parked in the alley behind his home and the driver keeps turning the car on and off. Police found the driver had slid on the soft dirt edge of the ditch and become stuck in the mud.

While working as the school resource officer police were alerted a bus driver saw two adults jumping over the fence at the high school track at 8:13 a.m. Wednesday.

Police were called to Scotty’s bar, St. Clair Avenue, at 12:10 a.m. Wednesday where there was a man attempting to break out the glass in front of the business. Phillip Jones, 25, was found standing on the sidewalk looking in the front window and highly intoxicated. The bartender said she has tried to get Jones to leave for the last 30 minutes after he was trying to start fights with everyone there. Jones, Walden Avenue, Wellsville, was cited for disorderly conduct.

Zachary Perry, Cadmus Street, reported unauthorized activity on his checking account at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday.

After seeing a vehicle change lanes suddenly and nearly strike a white SUV at 1:42 p.m. Tuesday, police stopped the vehicle in the area of Jefferson Street. One of the occupants, Candace Slager admitted she had some marijuana roaches in the vehicle. K-9 Nero was deployed and alerted to the passenger side of the vehicle, where police found a marijuana pipe and roaches. The evidence was collected and the driver was warned for the driving violation.
