Salineville Police Reports

A dog was reported running loose in the area of East Washington Street on Tuesday after it jumped inside the neighbor’s brand new car causing mud damage. Police went to a Lincoln Street address and cited Travis Neely for dog at large. He called the police department later and agreed to have the interior of the neighbor’s car detailed.

While at the intersection of Church Street and East Main Street Monday police saw David Reeger driving eastbound on East Main Street and turn left onto Church Street. Reeger is known by police to have an invalid license, but would not stop for police. A warrant is being issued.

On Monday in the area of Haiti and Hazel Run Roads police saw a silver Nissan SUV pass the police cruiser at the intersection traveling 60 mph in the 35 mph zone. Jeromy Echols was stopped and cited with driving under suspension.

A domestic dispute was reported at a West Main Street home on Tuesday. One of the residents had allowed two homeless people to move into the house several months ago, but now the family wants the couple to move out. The couple does not want to move, but has been given a two-month notice. They were urged to work it out and the couple agreed to move out in six weeks. They were upset because there was no running water at the home.
