Wellsville Police Reports

Police were called around 9 a.m. Saturday to a Commerce Street home regarding goldfish thrown on someone’s porch. Officers spoke with Mary Beatty, who said sometime between 10:30 p.m. the evening before and 30 minutes prior to the call, someone unknown threw approximately 30 goldfish on her porch.

Megan Richards, Seigler Road, Salineville, and her mother, Jessica Richards, reported on Sunday an incident that happened the day before. Megan stated that on Saturday, she was trying to get her items from ex-boyfriend Ricky Williams, but when she arrived at his 15th Street residence, she said he started arguing with her. When she tried to leave, he followed her and took her phone. She also said when they went back into the house, he started hitting her and pinned her up against the wall. She added he then pointed and held a gun to her forehead saying he was going to kill her. She said as soon as he looked away, she ran away and went home. She then said she called him to get her phone back, and he reportedly threatened to kill her and her mother. He follows her and harasses her. She said another witness, Kaleb Farnsworth, was there to view the incident.

While both females were at the police station, another officer went to Williams’ 15th Street residence to speak with him and Farnsworth. Williams said Megan showed up at his house severely intoxicated and they tried talking while laying in bed. Williams stated he got up to take a shower, and when he got done, he went downstairs and didn’t see anyone. He stated he went outside and asked Farnsworth if he had seen her, and he stated “I think that’s her running down the street.” Williams said afterwards, he and Farnsworth went inside and went to bed. Williams added that at 7 a.m. Sunday, Megan showed up, and as he started opening the door, she tried to rush into the house, adding he put his arms up and stated she wasn’t allowed in the house. In addition, Williams said Megan was screaming he stole her phone, and then said she could have all her belongings but he didn’t take her phone. Farnsworth also submitted a statement to police.
