Salineville Police Reports

While on patrol police saw Carl Harris traveling at a high rate of speed from Hazel Run Road to Maple Hill Road before police pulled him over for a loud exhaust on Wednesday. While police approached, Harris allegedly spit out the window and then threw what appeared to be a small tear-off baggie containing a suspect white rock substance. Harris was cited with driving under suspension and a loud exhaust. The suspected drugs were sent to the lab for analysis.

Samantha Yocum was westbound on West Main Street when police saw her pull into her driveway on Wednesday. She was cited with having a suspended license.

On Wednesday a resident reported to police a vehicle was abandoned on a West Main Street property for more than three weeks. The vehicle was towed to T&T Towing in Wellsville.

A crash was reported in the Dollar General lot at 7:10 p.m. Nov. 20, where a silver Kia had been struck by another unknown vehicle which left the scene.

Police assisted at a Main Street home at 9:14 a.m. Nov. 17 where a man was possibly having a heart attack. Salineville first responders, Franklin Township EMS and North Star ambulance responded as well and the man was transported to the hospital.
