LISBON – The Columbiana County Retired Teachers Association held their final meeting of the year at the Lisbon United Methodist Church.

Nancy Dicken offered the invocation, led the pledge and took roll call. The luncheon was prepared and served by the members of the Women of Faith of the church.

Jerry Barnes led the business meeting and offered a legislative update. Colleen McCoy’s minutes and Rosemary Bruehler’s treasurer’s report were approved.

The 50/50 was won by Dicken and Dena Garwood was selected for the free meal for the next meeting.

It was announced that local and ORTA dues need to be paid by Dec. 31. Contact Bruehler with any questions at 330-385-9369. Volunteer hour totals for the year are due to Gayle Noel (noelrg@att.net) also by the end of December.

Entertainment was provided by the Lisbon High School Choir. They sang beautiful musical selections under the direction of their teacher, Dominic Meyer. Accompanist was Jody Pilmer.

Starting at $2.99/week.
