Following a public celebration of life ceremony held at Youngstown State University’s Beeghly Center Wednesday a funeral procession of first responders from across the Mahoning Valley and beyond escorted the late Trooper Nicholas Cayton, 40, from the Beeghly Center to Arbaugh Pearce Greenisen Funeral Home in Salem. The procession included units from more than a dozen emergency service agencies, and passed beneath an American flag hung from the Salem Fire Department’s ladder truck on East State Street en route to the funeral home.
