Road department member Dave Smith gave the department’s report to the trustees due to Road Supervisor Scott Barrett not being able to attend the meeting.

Smith told the trustees that the 2025 Chip and Seal program was done, and the department is already at work discussing which roads should be done for the 2026 program. Smith noted that he would like to get ahead of things for next year. Trustee James Sabatini said he thought that was a good idea.

Smith noted that the crew was working on hot patching holes in the roads and would like to see how much hot patch could be purchased.

He also said Midland Fredericktown Road was prepped for chip and seal, which will be done by the county.

There were no reports from the police or fire departments and no new business.

Fiscal Officer Deborah Dawson said that the bank reconciliation for June was done and was in line with the bank and that the Little Beaver Creek Live Stream Day will be held Saturday.

The trustees approved payment of purchase orders totaling $16,293.04 and bills totaling $111,730.42
