ELCH Healthy Kids Day

East Liverpool City Hospital will hold its annual Healthy Kids Day Event on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. at the East Liverpool YCMA. Weather permitting, activities will be held both indoors and outdoors. Family-friendly activities include a hair tinsel and temporary tattoo station, crafts, family yoga, book give-away, pickleball, and a snack station.

Tire collections

The Independence Conservancy will host four community tire collections at the following locations: April 26 at Findlay Township Road Department, 1058 Clinton Road, Clinton, Pa.; May 3 at Big Knob Grange, 336 Grange Road, Rochester, Pa.; May 10 at Ambridge Borough Municipal Building, 800 11th St., Ambridge, Pa.; and May 17 at Aliquippa Street Department, 1497 Kennedy Blvd., Aliquippa, Pa. All events are from 9 a.m. to noon, rain or shine; no early birds. Proof of residency is not required. Individuals and small businesses are welcome. No limit to the number of tires anyone may bring. Cost is $5 each for up to 18 inches off rim, $7 each for over 18 inches off rim (SUV and light truck), $10 each up to 18 inches on rim, $25 each for tractor trailer up to 22.5 inches without rim, $35 each for farm tractor up to 75 pounds without rims, and priced by weight for farm tractor over 75 pounds without rims. Pancake breakfast with mom

The Calcutta Lions Club will host a pancake breakfast with mom from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 10, at the Calcutta fire department. Cost is $15 for adults (ages 13 years and over) and $5 for children (ages 3 to 12). There will also be a Mother’s Day basket raffle, tickets $1 each or six for $5.
