An opportunity to study newspapers!

Columbiana County Educational Opportunity Center students in Lisbon recently created their own newsletter. The informative piece included an editorial, weather news, a glance at sports and a mental health column. There was also a Student Highlight and even a Joke of the Week: “Why is history a sweet subject?” “Because it has many dates.” Students and staff invited Columbiana County Executive Editor J.D. Creer for a visit. He explained the current process of producing daily newspapers in our contemporary world of news. Shown above are staff and students.
