Thanks to Glenmoor American Legion Women’s Auxiliary Post 736 and the Wellsville American Legion Women’s Auxiliary Post 70, the girls pictured will be representing Beaver Local High School for the 2025 Buckeye Girls State. They will be attending Bowling Green State University the week of June 8 for an intensive week of study. Through hands-on experience these young women will have the opportunity to not only learn the mechanics of local and state government, but also learn citizenship and patriotism, and gain self-confidence, poise and character.
