County recorder accepts appointment
LISBON — Columbiana County Recorder Jim Armeni announced Tuesday that he accepted an appointment to the Ohio Recorders Association Legislative Committee.
Patricia Oyer, Carroll County recorder and Ohio Recorders Association president, selected Armeni to fill the three-year term.
“I am looking forward for the opportunity to work with the committee to monitor the state legislature’s introduction of bills being considered and how it will impact the County Recorders’ offices and Ohio residents,” Armeni said, adding, “I have experienced the process with the state legislators on passing laws, it takes strong and effective leadership and patience.”
Armeni was re-elected to a second four-year term as Columbiana County Recorder in November and also serves as a trustee with Perry Township.
