Students at the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center now have the chance to learn how to operate an excavator, thanks to the county commissioners, who visited the school Wednesday. Commissioners Tim Weigle, Mike Halleck and Roy Paparodis stand with assistant superintendent Jeremy Corbisello & CCCTC Landscape & Environmental Design Instructor John Garwood while speaking with the students from the Level 1 Landscape & Environmental Design Class. Commissioners developed an agreement for a shared asset for a Kobelco Excavator so the excavator will be stored at CCCTC and the students can learn to use and operate it as part of their LED program.
