Woman faces prostitution and drug charges
LISBON — A Youngstown area woman was in county Municipal Court on Friday on charges she attempted to sell herself to an undercover agent as a prostitute.
A July 29 pretrial was set for Constance Eilene Adams, 31, Youngstown, charged with possessing criminal tools, soliciting and drug paraphernalia.
According to Salem police, they assisted an agent with the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force at 4:37 p.m. Thursday with making contact with Adams for a suspected sex offense in the 500 block of East Pershing Street. She was found in a gray Ford F-150 pickup and she consented to a search of her phone, which was given to the agent. She has reportedly used that phone to provide “full service” sex for $300.
Adams also reportedly had two crack cocaine pipes in her possession.
She was transported to the Columbiana County jail and appeared for video arraignment Friday, where bond was set at $1,000 cash or surety.
Court documents note Adams has multiple prior convictions for soliciting and drug paraphernalia. Earlier this month, Adams pleaded no contest in county Municipal Court to charges of carrying a concealed weapon, drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension, when she reportedly was driving a vehicle with a fixed blade knife and a crack pipe in between her and the passenger.
