Craft beer festival to raise funds for Firestone Dog Park

COLUMBIANA–The Restoration and Beautification Committee of Columbiana has announced the brewery lineup for the Columbiana Craft Beer Festival Ales for Tails. Ales for Tails will take place between 4 and 8 p.m. Oct. 9 at Town Center, Firestone Farms. Ales for Tails will raise funds benefiting Firestone Dog Park.

The brewery lineup includes BrewLounge Beer Company, Biker Brewhouse, Birdfish Brewing Co., Unhitched Brewing, Numbers Brewing Company, Paladin Brewing, Sandy Springs Brewing Company, Noble Creature Cask House and Modern Methods Brewing Company.

Vendors will have beer on tap for an expected 1,500 participants. Wristbands are $25 in advance and $30 at the gate. Additional tickets and beer by-the-glass will be available for purchase. Guests will also receive a commemorative glass and tasting booklet. Participants must be 21 or older.

The Firestone Dog Park is part of the ongoing efforts by the Restoration and Beautification Committee of Columbiana to amplify the experience of residents and visitors.

The community dog park will feature a one acre shaded lot, double gates for safety, large and small dog areas, water stations, park benches and dog depots.
