BL class reunion
The Beaver Local Class of 1976 will hold its class reunion at 5 p.m. July 3 at Karla Hoppel Holden’s home on Moore Road, East Liverpool. A Mexican food truck will be on site for food purchase. Tops 1957 met on June 1 at the Living Well Church with officers Donna Lee and Brenda Young who filled in as leaders. The meeting opened with pledges, roll call and then Mary Schmidt led the group in prayer. Lee was the Tops best loser and she also wore the officers ribbon. Janice Monte had three weeks of weight loss, Diane Carnegie won the dimes. The Nono is cookies.
Martha Baxter gave the program about healthy tips. Mary Jarvis explained her flower picture puzzle game and for next week each member needs to lose weight or maintain, exercise10 minutes per day and keep a calorie chart. The game will continue until someone has there puzzle finished.
Tops 2231 met on June 8 at Boyce Church, Anna St. with leader Tonnie Slagle presiding. The meeting opened up with the Tops and Kops pledges and roll call.
Pam Fouse gave the secretary report and Cassie Stephens gave the treasury report.
Tops best loser was Fouse and the Kops best loser was Verla Betteridge. Betteridge was also the officer best loser. Stephens had three weeks in leeway. Tammy Heddleston has six weeks weight loss. Dottie Seevers 15 pounds weight loss. The no no’s are white bread and ice cream.
Stephens won the calorie charts, Jean Ferrebee won the dimes and Fouse won the 50/50. Fouse read an article on 3 Keys Area That Need Some TLC.
Slagle closed the meeting with Prayers requests followed by the Lord’s Prayer.
