Fawcett Foundation annual members meeting

On September 16, 2020, adhering to advised social distancing due to Covid-19, the Officers & Directors of the East Liverpool-Fawcett Community Foundation attended the Foundation’s Annual Members Meeting, either masked and in-person, or via teleconference. The teleconference-style meeting was held at the 517 Broadway law offices of the Foundation’s Secretary, Jackman S. Vodrey (Director for St Clair Twp.).

Grants totaling $17,500 were awarded to 13 local organizations and agencies, as follows: Community Improvement Corporation ($2,640), Cops & Kids ($1,030), East Liverpool Community Partnership for Revitalization ($2,590), East Liverpool High School Choir ($1,050), East Liverpool Schools Gifted Elementary Class ($540), Museum of Ceramics ($2,290), North Elementary School-Sensory Pathway ($2,115), North Elementary Sensory Garden ($550), Resources for Parents ($350), Southern Columbiana County Regional Chamber of Commerce Adopt-A-Planter Program ($840), Team Mojo Foundation ($1,230), United Way of Columbiana County ($1,735), and Valley Parish Nurse Ministry, Inc. ($540).

Donations to the Foundation can be sent to ELFCF, P. O. Box 458 East Liverpool, OH 43920.

Memberships cost $10 per year, with Life-time memberships set at a one-time donation of $500.

Grant applications to be considered at next year’s meeting must be received by the new annual deadline of August 15. Interested local area, non-profit organizations with 501 (c) (3) status may apply online at the Foundation’s website at www.TheFawcettFoundation.com. Since paper applications are no longer being accepted during Covid-19, applications are only accepted by following the directions on the website.
