Neighbor helping neighbor

When St. Clair Township was looking for assistance with a spring cleaning project, Heritage Thermal Services (HTS) in East Liverpool was glad to help. The township contacted the environmental services facility, asking where it could take more than 2,400 pounds of old computers and related electronic components. On Wednesday, the obsolete electronics, known as e-scrap, were unloaded at Heritage, where they were repacked and sent to an authorized electronics recycling facility. Heritage provided its service at no charge to township taxpayers. Pictured getting ready to repack obsolete electronics are, from the left: Paul Metrovich, Heritage; Scott Barrett, St. Clair Township; Matt Smith and Annette Crow, Heritage; and Herman Potts, St. Clair Township.
