Virus cases increase to 23 in Columbiana County

As of 9:30 a.m. this morning, the Columbiana County Health District is reporting 23 positive positive COVID-19 cases including two total deaths of COVID-19 positive residents. These cases include 14 males and nine females. To date, the laboratory at the Ohio Department of Health has tested specimens from 64 Columbiana County residents, 30 of those tests resulted as negative, 23 positive and 11 tests are pending. The percentage of these test results equates to 57% negative and 43% positive.

The health district is aware of additional tests that have been sent to private laboratories from local medical persona. However statistics related to these tests are only reported to the county if they result positive.
