WELLSVILLE — Wellsville Police Department is asking citizens to please not park from 8-12 a.m. today on the south side of Clark Avenue between 17th and 21st streets due to a superload going through.

Riverview Cemetery temporary gate closure

EAST LIVERPOOL — The Riverview Cemetery is closely monitoring the coronavirus pandemic and are following the protocols outlined by the CDC and the Ohio Department of Public Health on social distancing.

As of April 3, the Cemetery’s main gate will be closed except for burial services until further notice. You can contact 330-385-9262 with questions or concerns.

However, the exception to gate closure will be this week on Holy Saturday, April 11 and Easter Sunday, April 12 all day, to place flowers on your loved one’s grave and visit as you wish.

Again, we ask that you will adhere to the CDC and ODH guidelines of social distancing to protect yourself and others while in the cemetery. We are sorry for any temporary inconvenience this may cause you.

Hancock County alcohol sales

NEW CUMBERLAND — In order to enforce proper social distancing measures and keep the residents of Hancock County safe, the Hancock County Health Department is banning sales of alcohol to anyone that does not have a WV state issued ID. This order will take effect on April 6, 2020 at 12 p.m. It will remain in effect until further notice.
