Salvation Army seeks donors of Christmas spirit
EAST LIVERPOOL — The Salvation Army is still seeking donors to help with its Angel Tree effort.
According to Lt. Lydia Behr, children up to age 12 each have a tag registered with one of the participating sites, which provides potential donors with the child’s name, gender, age, clothing sizes, needs, etc. A donor receives a tag and returns it with the appropriate items to be gifted to the child by 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12.
Volunteers also are being sought for the Angel Tree distribution, which is scheduled for December 16 through 18.
The non-profit’s third annual Kettle Kickoff Breakfast is set for 7:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 22 at their 413 E. 4th St. location with tickets costing $10 each.
Volunteers are being sought for mid-December’s Angel Tree distribution as well as the kettle effort, where individuals can man the kettles at either indoor or outdoor locations for a few hours daily. For more information, call 330-385-2086.
