Yellow Creek Township trustee
WELLSVILLE –Yellow Creek Township has two candidates running for Township Trustee. Ken Biacco and Andrew Frischkorn.
Biacco is running as a Democrat. He has been a trustee for eight years. In office Biacco has received 11 grants for the township, represented Yellow Creek four times at events in Columbus, and has assisted in bringing the Southfield Energy Plant to the township. He is the Chairman of the Board for the township as well as the township’s Permit Director.
He is running again because he enjoys serving the township and working with the residents. Biacco also has the time and experience. As an official he has built strong relationships with county and state officials and has been involved with the County Township Association. He is proud of what he has accomplished over the years and wants to continue bettering Yellow Creek. He is dedicated to his community and promises to serve with integrity and accountability.
Biacco graduated from Wellsville High School in 1972, and he graduated from the Canfield Police Academy. Currently he us the treasure for the Fraternal Order of Police Quaker Lodge 88, and involved with the Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office Make-A-Wish Program. He is a retired sergeant from the Columbiana County Sheriff’s Department. He also worked at Crucible Steel.
