Ludovici named county advertising director

Lisa Ludovici was appointed recently as advertising director of the Morning Journal, The Review and the Salem News. In her new position she is managing the day-to-day operations of the three Columbiana County publications which are members of the Ogden Newspaper Group. She was born and raised in Chester, W.Va., and is a 1983 Oak Glen High School graduate who studied at West Virginia University.

Ludovici started at The Review in February 1990 in the advertising department as an outside sales consultant. Early in her career she worked as a sales consultant at the Salem News and the Morning Journal. She returned to The Review in June 1998 and was appointed advertising director in May 2001.

“I truly enjoy working with the local business owners, determining their needs, and creating advertising campaigns to suit the need and each individual budget,” she said. “Through today’s ever-changing business world, with social media a huge factor, the local hometown newspaper is and will always be a critical part of every community.”

“Lisa has the customer focus, market knowledge, and professional skill sets necessary to effectively lead our sales and marketing initiatives,” said Columbiana County Group Publisher Tammie McIntosh. “She brings with her a passion for local community journalism and a commitment to providing quality marketing solutions for local small and medium-sized businesses.”

She is married to Mike Ludovici and has a daughter, Carlie, two step-children and one granddaughter.
