Thunder in the Park III set for Saturday
CHESTER — The Chester City Park Board is Hosting Thunder in the Park III. The classic car, truck and craft show will be held on June 22 at Chester City Park. From noon to 4 p.m. participants can view classic vehicles while shopping from local craft vendors.
A panel of judges will be handing out 100 dash plaques and 25 special trophies for vehicles entered in the car cruise, which is dedicated to Jim Wilson and Wille Murray.
The park board will be selling food and drink with all proceeds from the event benefiting Chester City Parks. Cars and trucks can register from 10 a.m. to noon with a registration fee of $6. Crafters must pay cash in advance and can set up from 9 a.m. to noon. Inside tables cost $25 and come with one table and two chairs. Outside table space cost $15 and the crafter are responsible for bringing their own table and chairs. Inside tables are selling out quickly and it’s suggested to reserve a space if you want to set up inside.
